Justin Mills – Lighting Cameraman
I’m a Guild of Television Cameramen award-winning Cameraman based in London. Since going freelance in 1998 I’ve met and helped tell the stories of ordinary and extraordinary people in over 70 countries in a huge variety of environments, from power brokers and heads of state to the most marginalised members of society.
Most of my work is with broadcasters making factual television, but I also shoot corporate films for blue chip companies and films for NGOs, charities and PR firms.
I am equally happy shooting carefully-lit interviews and multi camera setups as filming actuality, handheld using available light. Working fast, being adaptable when situations change and putting contributors at ease, I enjoy working with a team to ensure the creative vision is fulfilled or surpassed.
I am also comfortable self-shooting sequences, and have made dozens of short films as a director cameraman in some of the more challenging parts of the developing world.
Depending on production requirements I provide a full and flexible shooting package: change to 'Sony FX9, FX6, a7sIII cameras, Ronin RS2 Gimbal, GoPro 10, Radio mics, 416 Boom mic, many lens and light choices. Other Camera formats available on request.
I'm a drone pilot (UK A2 CofC qualified), currently flying DJI Mavic 2 Pro and Mavic Mini 3 Pro drones.
